Swatilekha Thakur

Assistant Professor

Dr. Swatilekha Thakur is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences, KIIT deemed to be University. She pursued M.A. in Economics from Utkal University, and M.Phil in Planning and Development from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB). Further, she obtained PhD in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has also qualified the UGC NET in Economics, and was a recipient of Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi during her PhD study. Dr. Thakur has research interest in the areas of International Trade, Macroeconomics, Development Economics and Econometrics. She has publications in National and International Journals. She has presented several research papers in National and International seminar/conferences, and participated in many workshops and research methodology courses. Her domain of teaching includes Macroeconomics, International Economics, Business Economics and Managerial Economics.
