Prof. Sasmita Samanta is an accomplished academician loaded with high degree of incisiveness and passion for research and schooling which is intermingling with innovative pragmatically approach. Prof. Samanta’s intellectual capabilities is manifested in distinctions as Postdoc from Taiwan, Ph.D. in Management, a Stanford LEAD Alumna and Stanford Distinguished Scholar, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. She is also the University Rank Holder in Master of Commerce. Seven (7) Research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. under her guidance.

She has attended CSC Leadership Programme organised by Commonwealth Secretariat, UK in the year 2018. She got the Fellowship from States Department, USA as one among the 10 Academic Administrators of South East Asia in 2016. She had attended US Government-sponsored Administrator Exchange Programme at University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), USA.

She is the Chairperson of KIIT Technology Incubation Centre. She is also the Chairperson of Centre of Excellence for Public Policy Research, Centre for Peace and Happiness Studies and Centre of Excellence on Occupational Health and Safety established at KIIT in association with BG BAU, Germany, .

She is a prolific public speaker, who has delivered many keynote addresses and lectures in diverse fields of education and human development at different conferences, seminars, faculty development programmes, including Human Resource Development Centres of UGC.

Since 2012 she has been associated with Indian Science Congress as an Executive / Council Member and since 2016 she is the member of India Social Science Congress. She have organised lots of International and National events including Conferences seminar, workshop, athletic meet which was attended by eminent scientists and Nobel laureates from the country and abroad. She has authored, co-authored and edited many books and has contributed several research articles in national and international periodicals and journals of repute.

Prof. Jayanta Kumar Parida retired after serving for more than 38 years in the field of academics, from P.G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University as a Senior Professor, Head and Dean Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies. He is presently serving as the Director, Quality Assurance Cell & Director, School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University.

He is the former Director, HRDC, Utkal University. He is the Past President of All India Commerce Association & All Odisha Commerce Association. He has also served as a Chairman of Subject Research Committee in Commerce, Board of Studies in Commerce and Master in Finance and Control. He has an immense contribution towards both academic & administration of educational institutions of the country. He has produced 21 Ph.D. and authored 12 textbooks. He has undertaken 4 major Research Projects and has more than 68 Research articles in various national and international journals of repute. He is honoured with different national and international positions and responsibilities and is an expert member of HRD, NAAC & NBA. He is also an advisory member of UGC, New Delhi along with it he was a member Board of Studies of AICTE, New Delhi. Prof. Parida has visited 09 different countries for various academic purposes. He was awarded with the Best National Organizer in NSS of India by Vice President of India.

Prof. P.T. Chaudhari retired after 37 years of service from M.J. College (N.M. University), Jalgaon as a Senior Professor, Head Dept. of Commerce. He was Dean of Faculty of Commerce & Management. He is presently serving as a Professor in Commerce in the School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University.

He was Executive Vice President of Indian Commerce Association (2011-2014) and Joint Secretary during (2008-2011). At present he is Vice President of Maharashtra State Commerce Association. He is recipient Best Teacher Award of North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon in 2004 and State Level  Dr. P.C. Shejawalkar Best Commerce Teacher’s award in (2005). He also worked as a Member of Academic Council of Poona University as well as N.M. University. He was Chairman of Board of studies in Commerce (N.M. University). He worked as a member of Research & Recognition Committee. He has represented almost Universities in Maharashtra as a member of Board of Studies in Commerce such as Mumbai University, Nagpur University, Amravati University, Kolhapur University, Nanded University, Poona University, N.M. University , Gondwana University etc. Under his able guidance 11 students have been awarded Ph.D  & M.Phil to 5 students. He has authored 10 Books . He has completed two MRP of UGC and has published more than 54 research papers and articles in National as well as International Journals of repute. Professor P.T. Chaudhari has delivered 41 Keynote address in various National and International Conferences. Also delivered 42 Lectures in Refresher Courses and 102 Lectures in Orientation Programs of ASC (HRDC). He has attended 159 Conferences and presented more than 96 Research Papers therein  at State, National and International levels. He has Chaired number of Technical Sessions in Conferences , Seminars at various Levels. He has visited 6 foreign countries.

Dr. Pinaki Nandan Pattnaik (Ph.D, MBA) has 19 years of experience in teaching and research. He started his career as an academician in 2005 at the Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology, Canada and has, since then, worked with KIIT University, National Law University, Odisha (NLUO) and at the Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law. In terms of research, he has published more than 20 articles in journals of International repute and standing, 2 books and completed several projects funded by the Central Government. He has also been actively designing and rendering training programs for corporate houses as well.

Dr. Puspalata Mahapatra (M.Com, LLB, MBA (Finance), Ph.D. under Utkal University) presently working as Asst. Prof (II) in the School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. She is having 15 years of teaching experience including 4 years in Department of FCMS, Sri Sri University, Cuttack and different B’schools of Odisha. She has 15 Research articles published in various national and international journals and has been guiding Ph.D. research scholars.

Dr. Mohammed Khursid is an Assistant Professor in Commerce, School of Commerce and Economics, KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar. He completed his Ph.D. from Utkal University. He has qualified UGC-NET (Commerce). He has presented research papers in various national and International Conferences. He has put in 09 years of teaching experience and has been teaching Statistics, Cost Accounting, E-Commerce, E-Marketing, Business Law, Financial Management and Econometrics. He is an Executive Member of the Indian Accounting Association, BBSR branch.

Dr. Giridhari Sahoo, graduated from Utkal University, obtained his M.Com, and Ph.D. Degree from P.G Department of Commerce, Utkal University, M.Phil. Degree from School of Commerce and Management Studies, Ravenshaw University, MBA Degree from Department of Business Administration, Utkal University and ICWA  (Inter) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has completed his Ph.D. degree from P.G Department of Commerce, Utkal University in the area Sustainability Reporting Practices. He has qualified UGC NET many times.

He has worked as an Academic Consultant in Commerce at Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar from Jan 2013-June 2019.To his credit he has attended many National and International Seminars, Workshops and training programs. He has authored eight research papers in International and National level Journal. His areas of interest include Accounting & Finance, Corporate Reporting, Portfolio Management & financial markets, Research Methodology and Banking & Insurance Management. He is a life member of ICA, IAA, & OCA.

Mr. Himanshu Agarwall is presently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. He is a M.Com. Gold Medallist of his batch at Utkal University. He has completed his M.Phil. in Commerce from Utkal University and has qualified UGC-NET. He has many Research papers to his credit in different journals of repute. He has been honoured with different awards and recognitions at different forums for his career and research works.

He regularly participates and presents his research articles in various state, national as well as international seminars. His Research papers have been adjudged as the Best Research Paper Awardee at 4 different national and international forums, including the ISER International Conference held at Bangkok, Thailand; All India Accounting Conference and International Seminar held at Manipal University, Jaipur; All Odisha Commerce Conference and National Seminar held at Utkal University; and at the National Seminar held at Berhampur University. His areas of interest include Accounting & Finance, Taxation, & Research. Dr. Debasis Pahi is Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. He received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur). His research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, accounting standards, accounting education and pedagogy, international finance, and climate finance. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as the Managerial Finance, the Journal of Asia Business Studies, the Asia- Pacific Financial Markets, and the International Journal of Trade, Economics, and Finance. He regularly participates and presents his research articles and case studies in various international, national and state-level seminars. He has been awarded T.J. PARK POSCO ASIA Fellowship, UGC Rank Holder Fellowship, Best Student Award in his academic career. He is the life member of various associations like All India Commerce Association, All India Accounting Association, All Odisha Commerce Association, and The Indian Econometric Society.

Ms. Anjali Prava Mishra, presently working as an Assistant Professor (I) in School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. She has obtained Master degree in Commerce from P.G Department of Commerce, Utkal University and M.Phil. in Commerce from P.G Department of Commerce, Berhampur University. She has qualified UGC (NET). She has more than 5 years of teaching experience in both Under Graduate and Post Graduate. Her areas of interest are Accounting, Finance and Marketing. Along with teaching she is actively engaged in Research. She regularly participates and presents her research articles in various State, National as well as International seminars and conferences and published research articles in National Journals of repute. Miss Sarita Kumari Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. She is the former Guest faculty of Government Autonomous College, Rourkela. She has done her Post Graduation from P.G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University with Accounting specialisation. She has completed her M.Phil. in Commerce from R.D. Women’s University, Bhubaneswar and has also qualified UGC-NET in Commerce. She has a huge potential for academic and administrative activities and she is passionate towards research activities. Jyotisankar Mishra is currently working as an Assistant Professor (I) in School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. Before joining KIIT he has also worked as a Guest Faculty of Commerce in Rajdhani College, Bhubaneswar and Assistant Professor of Commerce in Sai International College of Commerce, Bhubaneswar. A Graduate from BJB College, Bhubaneswar with first class & distinction, he obtained his Master Degree from P. G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University. He also qualified UGC-NET in Commerce. A passionate teacher who believes in innovative and participative teaching-learning, Mishra keeps on experimenting in his classes with inter-disciplinary teaching. He has expertise in the fields Accounting, Finance, HRM and Organisation Theory & Behaviour. His research interest includes areas like behavioural & psychological aspects of Commerce & Management.

Ms. Nirupama Mohanty, presently working as an Assistant Professor(I) in School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed University. She has completed her M.com and M.Phil. from Utkal University with Accounting Specialisation. She has qualified UGC- NET. Before joining KIIT she was working as a guest faculty in RamaDevi Women’s University. She is actively participating in National Seminars and presenting papers. She has published few research articles in various journals. She has co-authored a book Business Regulatory Framework for the students of DDCE Utkal University. She is a passionate teacher.

Dr. Sidheswar Panda is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the School of Commerce and Economics, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore; M.A. in Applied Economics and M.Phil. in Economics from Pondicherry University, India. His fields of research interest include patent rights protection, innovation, international trade and development, macroeconomics, and applied econometrics. He has much prior research experience at various institutes, namely, IISc Bangalore, Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), New Delhi, Centre of Excellence in Fiscal Policy and Taxation (CEFT), Bhubaneswar, and recipient of Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) Post-Doctoral policy fellow at the CPR-IISc, DST, Govt of India.

He has published his research works in international peer-reviewed journals, namely, Journal Policy Modeling, Global Economy Journal, International Economics and Economic Policy, Journal of Developing Areas, Margin – Journal of Applied Economics Research, Economics Bulletin, and other journals. Dr. Panda has been a reviewer for some international peer-reviewed economics and social science journals such as International Journal of Finance and Economics, Journal of Public Affairs, Applied Economics, Economic International/International Economics. He has also been actively involved in conferences and seminars. Dr. Arya Kumar is well known for his interdisciplinary coverage of the theoretical and practical aspects of many subjects. His experience of handling project works and demonstration skills in the areas of research helped him to receive 7 best papers consecutively at national and international platforms. Dr. Kumar also owns a patent in his credential. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience. He has published more than 40 papers in international peer reviewed journals like Scopus, WOS and UGC Care listed Journals. He is a certified reviewer of several journals. He is presently in the editorial board for a bi-annual Journal. His main areas of expertise are Financial Derivative, Econometric, Behavioural Finance, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Research Methodology and other related areas. Suchitra Ranglani is currently working as Assistant Professor(I) at KIIT School of Commerce and Economics. She has submitted her thesis for Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University. She has qualified UGC-JRF in Commerce as well as has been a gold medallist in graduation from GGU Bilaspur. She has presented papers in several conferences and has also attended many workshops. Her area of research includes volatility spillovers, contagion etc. She is well versed with the use of R- Studio, E-Views, SPSS, NVivo etc.

Dr. Sweta Leena Hota graduated from Utkal University, obtained her M.Com, and Ph.D. Degree from P.G Department of Commerce, Utkal University and MBA also
from Utkal University. She has more than 8 years of Banking Experience from Banks like CitiBank and Axis Bank and more than 10 years of teaching experience. To her credit she has attended many National and International Seminars, Workshops and has authored 9 research papers in International and National Level Journals. Her areas of interests include Banking and Insurance Management, Marketing Management and Customer Relationship Management.

Dr. Muhammed Najeeb K.K is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social, Financial, & Human Sciences, KIIT deemed to be University. He has pursued M.Phil in Economics from Central University of Kerala and P.hD in Economics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Dr. Najeeb is a passionate researcher in the areas such as innovation, technological growth, IPR, open-macroeconomics, trade, econometrics, and development economics. He has presented research papers in various national and international conferences such as Network of Asia-Pacific of Schools and Institutes of Public Administration and Governance (NAPSIPAG) held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Najeeb has also published his articles in reputed journals and presented invited lectures in various seminars. He is a co-founder and executive committee member of SIGN, a Non- Governmental Organisation in Wayanad, Kerala, which is focusing on the human capital and skill development of the marginalised societies.

Dr. Girija Shankar Panigrahi is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social, Financial, and Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. He has pursued his Ph.D. in Positive Psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, M.Phil degree in Clinical Psychology from the LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur, Assam. He has been awarded as Best Arts Graduate from Fakir Mohan Autonomous College, Balasore, Odisha. His research paper has been published in leading international journals such as the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction and Current Psychology. He actively participated in various international, national, and state-level seminars, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs.

He is a Professional Clinical Psychologist certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India. He has 6 to 7 years of practical clinical experience in mental health institutions, Government hospitals, and non-government organizations. Dr. Pradipta Kumar Sahoo is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social, Financial, & Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. He has completed his Ph.D. degree in Economics under a joint doctoral program between IIT Hyderabad, India & Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. In addition, he completed his M.Phil. & M.A. in Economics from University of Hyderabad. Dr. Sahoo has a good research background and has published more than 15 research articles in the reputed international peer reviewed journals like ABDC, WOS and SCOPUS indexed journals. He has been actively participating in various international and national, seminars, conferences, and workshops. His research domain involves Applied Econometrics, Cryptocurrency, Industrial Economics and Energy Economics.

Dr. Priyanka Tripathy is presently working as an Assistant Professor (I) in School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences, KIIT University. She has an outstanding career all throughout. She has completed MBA from Utkal University and was the topper of the batch. Alongwith MBA she has completed P.G. Diploma in Banking and Relationship Management from Kotak Manipal School of Banking, Manipal University, M.Phil from Sambalpur University and Ph.D from Ravenshaw University. Her specializations lie in Marketing, Research Methodology and HR.

She has participated in research workshops of IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kolkata and IIT Bhubaneswar. She has presented papers in IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow (Noida Campus), IIT Kharagpur, IMT Nagpur, NIT Rourkela and many organizations of repute. To her credit she has published 3 books and research papers in Scopus and
International Journals of repute. She has taught and nurtured more than 400 pupils of different backgrounds from across the country, successfully preparing them for UGC NET-JRF exams. She has eight years of teaching and 2 years of corporate experience.

Dr Ananya Das is an Assistant Professor (I) in the School of Social, Financial, and Human Sciences, KIIT, Deemed to be University. She has completed her MA, MPhil and PhD in Sociology from the Centre for the Study of Social Systems (CSSS), Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has been awarded UGC-NET-JRF for pursuing her Mphil and PhD. The topper of her batch of BA in SCS (A) college Dr. Das has attended numerous conferences. Mr. Bamadev Mahapatra is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Social, Financial, and Human Sciences, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He is pursuing his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad. He has completed his M.A. in Economics from Ravenshaw University and M.Phil. in Economics from North Orissa University. He has research experience at numerous institutes, including Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) Hyderabad, and Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies (NCDS), Bhubaneswar. His research interests mainly focus on the area of energy economics and development economics. He has published his research works in different WoS, SCOPUS and ABDC indexed journals such as Energy, Environment Development and Sustainability, International Journal of Energy Sector Management, and International Journal of Global Energy Issues. He has also participated in various research methodology, capacity building, and faculty development programs.

Dr. Lopamudra Lenka is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Economics at the KIIT School of Social, Financial, & Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. She has completed her Ph.D. in Economics from the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune, Maharashtra. She obtained her Master Degree in Analytical and Applied Economics from Utkal University. She has got the prior experiences of teaching at National Defence Academy, Pune as a Guest Faculty. In addition to that, she has worked as an Insurance Analyst at Spandana Spoorthy Financial Limited, Hyderabad. She has published many research articles in various international, peer reviewed journals and magazines. To her credit, she has participated in many national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. Her areas of research and interest include, Reverse Migration, Rural Economics, Indian Economy, Financial Institutions and Markets, Agricultural Economics and Environmental Economics. Dr. Smruti Ranjan Das is currently working as an Assistant Professor (I) in the School of Social, Financial, & Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. He has 12 years of experience in teaching and research. He has an outstanding Career all throughout. He started his Career as an academician in 2010 at Fakir Mohan University, Balasore and since then, worked with North Orissa University, Baripada, Mayurbhanj. In terms of research, he has published more than 15 articles in journals of National & International repute and 5 Edited Books. To his Credit he has Participated Many National and International Seminar, Workshops, FDP & Short term Courses. His areas of interest include Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship Development and General Management. He has also served as a Member of Board of Studies in Commerce and Management, PM & IR of educational institution of the state. He has an immense contribution towards both academic & administration of educational institutions of the Country. He has huge potential for academic and administrative activities. Dr. Swatilekha Thakur is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences, KIIT deemed to be University. She pursued M.A. in Economics from Utkal University, and M.Phil in Planning and Development from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB). Further, she obtained PhD in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has also qualified the UGC NET in Economics, and was a recipient of Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi during her PhD study. Dr. Thakur has research interest in the areas of International Trade, Macroeconomics, Development Economics and Econometrics. She has publications in National and International Journals. She has presented several research papers in National and International seminar/conferences, and participated in many workshops and research methodology courses.

Dr. Tulasi Malini Maharatha is presently working as an Assistant Professor (I) in School of Social, Financial, and Human Sciences, KIIT University. She has pursued her Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. She has an outstanding career all throughout. She has completed both her PG and M.Phil in analytical and applied economics from Utkal University and has qualified UGC- NET in Economics. Her specializations lie in Development Economics, specifically Health Economics. Apart from presenting in different IITs and NISER, she has also visited Switzerland and Greece to present papers at International conferences. To her credit, she has published research papers in Scopus and International Journals of repute. She is well-versed in the use of STATA, R, LISREL, LiST, and SPSS.

Mr. Satwik Patnaik is currently working as Assistant Professor (I) at KIIT School of Commerce and Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. He has pursued his Masters in Banaras Hindu University during which he cleared UGC NET with JRF. Following which, he completed his M.Phil in Sociology in Utkal University and is currently doing his PhD in Utkal University. He secured 1 st in order of merit in B.A. Sociology(honrs.) in BJB Autonomous College. He was also awarded the Krishnapriya Memorial Best All Rounder Student at BJB Autonomous College.He has presented his papers in international conference organized by Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand., besides also presenting his research papers in Indian Sociological Conference. He has co-contributed articles in an International edited book jointly published by American Geophysical Union and Wiley.
He was awarded the North India Climate Debate Champion in 2018 after securing the 1 st prize in a climate debate competition organized by American Center. His research domain includes Sociology of health and medicine, Sociology of environment and climate change among others. Prior to this, he served as honorary guest faculty in KIIT University having taught Socio- Political Environment(SPE) to B.Tech CSE students.
