Dr. Smruti Ranjan Das is currently working as an Assistant Professor (I) in the School of Social, Financial, & Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. He has 13 years of experience in teaching and research. He has an outstanding Career all throughout. He started his Career as an academician in 2010 at Fakir Mohan University, Balasore and since then, worked with North Orissa University, Baripada, Mayurbhanj. In terms of research, he has published more than 15 articles in journals of National & International repute and 5 Edited Books. To his Credit he has Participated Many National and International Seminar, Workshops, FDP & Short term Courses. His areas of interest include Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship Development and General Management. He has also served as a Member of Board of Studies in Commerce and Management, PM & IR of educational institution of the state. He has an immense contribution towards both academic & administration of educational institutions of the Country. He has huge potential for academic and administrative activities. He was also Senate Member of Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha from 2012 to 2015. He has visited 01 foreign country for academic purpose.

He was the only one NSS Programme Officer representing the state of Odisha as the Contingent Leader for Prestigious Republic Day Camp-2021 at Rajpath, New Delhi, Organised by Government of India Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

He was awarded the Best Programme Officer in NSS by North Orissa University, Baripada, Mayurbhanj and also he was awarded Best Programme Officer by State NSS Cell, Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha. He has been honoured with various Awards and Recognitions from various Social & Cultural Organisations. He is the life member of various associations like All India Commerce, All Odisha Commerce Association, and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
