Satwik Patnaik

Assistant Professor

Satwik Patnaik is currently working as Assistant Professor (I) at KIIT School of Social,Financial and Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. He has pursued his Masters in Banaras Hindu University during which he cleared UGC NET with JRF. Following which, he completed his M.Phil in Sociology in Utkal University and is currently doing his PhD in Utkal University. He secured 1 st in order of merit in B.A. Sociology(honrs.) in BJB Autonomous College. He was also awarded the Krishnapriya Memorial Best All Rounder Student at BJB Autonomous College.He has presented his papers in international conference organized by Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand., besides also presenting his research papers in Indian Sociological Conference. He has co-contributed articles in an International edited book jointly published by American Geophysical Union and Wiley. He was awarded the North India Climate Debate Champion in 2018 by American Center. His research domain includes Sociology of health and medicine, Sociology of environment and climate change among others.
