Assistant Professor

Dr. Lopamudra Lenka is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Economics at the KIIT School of Social, Financial, & Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. She has completed her Ph.D. in Economics from the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune, Maharashtra. She obtained her Master Degree in Analytical and Applied Economics from Utkal University. She has got the prior experiences of teaching at National Defence Academy, Pune as a Guest Faculty. In addition to that, she has worked as an Insurance Analyst at Spandana Spoorthy Financial Limited, Hyderabad. She has published many research articles in various international, peer reviewed journals and magazines. To her credit, she has participated in many national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. Her areas of research and interest include, Reverse Migration, Rural Economics, Indian Economy, Financial Institutions and Markets, Agricultural Economics and Environmental Economics. She has got a huge creative interest in classical dance, writing, painting and music. She has done her Nritya Visharad Degree in Odissi Dance, under Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.
