HIMANSHU AGARWALL Ph.D. (Commerce), MPhil, MCom (Gold Medalist), UGC (NET) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (COMMERCE), KIIT DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY, ODISHA Dr. Himanshu Agarwall is presently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Commerce & Economics, KIIT Deemed to be University. Dr. Agarwall has completed his Ph.D. in Commerce from KIIT Deemed to be University, Institute of Eminence, Bhubaneswar. He is a M.Com. Gold Medallist of his batch at Utkal University, completed his M.Phil. in Commerce from Utkal University and has qualified UGC-NET. He has many Research papers to his credit in different journals of repute. He has been honoured with different awards and recognitions at different forums for his career and research works. He regularly participates and presents his research articles in various state, national as well as international seminars. His Research papers were adjudged as the Best Research Paper Awardee at 4 different national and international forums, including the ISER International Conference held at Bangkok, Thailand; All India Accounting Conference and International Seminar held at Manipal University, Jaipur; All Odisha Commerce Conference and National Seminar held at Utkal University; and at the National Seminar held at Berhampur University. His areas of interest include Accounting & Finance, Taxation, & Research. He is the life member of various associations like American Accounting Association, All India Commerce Association, All India Accounting Association, and All Odisha Commerce Association.

1. Awarded with ISER Excellent Paper Award for the paper entitled “Is there any Significant Difference between Ind AS & their corresponding IAS/IFRS? A Comparative Analysis” for the category Best presentation/ Best content at the ISER International Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand on 21st – 22nd August 2019. 2. Adjudged as the Professor Malay Kumar Mohanty Best Research Paper Awardee in the combined Board of Technical Sessions & Seminar taken together for the paper titled, “Measurement of Degree of Harmonisation of Diversified Accounting Practices: Problems & Prospects” presented in the National Seminar & 39th All Odisha Commerce Conference in the P. G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University, Vani-Vihar on 3rd & 4th February 2019. 3. Adjudged as the Baldev Kar Best Young Research Paper Awardee in the Seminar Session for the paper titled, “Measurement of Degree of Harmonisation of Diversified Accounting Practices: Problems & Prospects” presented in the National Seminar & 39th All Odisha Commerce Conference in the P. G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University, Vani-Vihar on 3rd & 4th February 2019. 4. Adjudged as the winner of Best Research Paper Award in the Seminar Session for the paper titled, “Relationship of Corporate Governance & Capital Structure of Firms: An Impact Study of BSE Listed Manufacturing Companies” presented in the National Seminar of P. G. Department of Commerce, Berhampur University on 29th & 30th January 2019. 5. Adjudged as the Best Research Paper Award in the Seminar for the paper titled, “IFRS & Measurement of Firms’ Performance Valuation: A Study of Indian MNCs” presented in the International Seminar of All India Accounting Association organized by School of Business and Commerce, Manipal University, Jaipur on 5th & 6th January 2019. 6. Awarded the University Gold Medal, Sanjeev Mohapatra Memorial Gold Medal, and Kooverji Karson Rathor Memorial Gold Medal for securing highest CGPA under CBCS in the P.G. Examination of 2018 in Commerce.
