Dr Ananya Das is an Assistant Professor (I) in the School of Social, Financial, and Human Sciences, KIIT, Deemed to be University. She has completed her MA, MPhil and PhD in Sociology from the Centre for the Study of Social Systems (CSSS), Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has been awarded UGC-NET-JRF for pursuing her Mphil and PhD. The topper of her batch of BA in SCS (A) college Dr. Das has attended numerous conferences. She also has publications in magazines, journals and newspapers. She has also received government grants for research project from Department of Justice, Ministry of Law. Her areas of interests include Sociology of Religion, Sociology of Education, Sociology of Literature, and Popular Culture. She has taught at Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
